Sweater Weather Tag Updated

It's been an age since I did the Sweater Weather Tag, and as a self-confessed Autumn fanatic, it was long due an update. With the nights growing longer, the leaves falling, and the breeze beginning to bite, it seemed the perfect time to revisit this tag. It has such cute questions and is great for getting in the cosy mood, so I'm excited to be doing it again (and comparing my answers from 2015)!

Favourite candle scent?
It's always going to be Yankee Candle Salted Caramel. I've loved it for years and always come back to it. Sweet scents are the ones for me, although I do enjoy pumpkin and spiced scents too.

Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
I'm a big hot chocolate fan. I love to be cosy and I have a major sweet tooth, what can I say?
I did find a lovely cinnamon coffee that I loved recently, but unfortunately discovered that my body is not designed for that amount of caffiene. I'll stick to the gentle hot chocolates, thanks.

Best autumn fragrance?
My beloved Library of Fragrance 'Pumpkin Pie' is the ultimate Autumn fragrance. No further explanation needed.

Best autumn memory?
Visiting Alton Towers with my family and sneaking into the horror walk-throughs underage is such a treasured memory for me, especially now my Nanna has passed away.

I also have fond memories of getting hopelessly lost in a local woods in the pitch black one Halloween and being pretty convinced we were going to die in there. It was so funny and about as dramatic as you can imagine a large group of young teens lost in a pitch black woods on Halloween night would be.

Being invited to Liverpool HorrorCon last year, and spending the weekend there with friends was also absolutely amazing. I met so many interesting new people and had so many brilliant experiences there.

Favourite book that you're reading this autumn?
I've not yet started any new books this autumn, but I have a few books on the history of witchcraft and some death and culture books lined up to read over this autumn and winter! I'm also very much looking forward to reading the works of Magen Cubed, who I've followed on Twitter for a long time. You can buy a complete set of her books and short stories at a discount here

Which make up trend do you prefer - winged eyeliner or dark lips?
Whilst it's no secret that I rarely go anywhere without winged liner, I must say I prefer a dark lip. I have a shamefully large lip product collection and think a choice of lip colour can make or break a look.

Favourite roast dinner food?
I'm pretty certain there's something addictive in the V-Bites products because I can't get enough of them, and their vegan roast is no exception. I also make a mean vegan yorkshire pudding.

What is autumn like where you live?
I live on a peninsula up North, and being surrounded by Northern coast makes for a pretty windy autumn and winter. There's lots of green space and rural areas local to me, so I'm lucky to have an abundance of crunchy leaves and beautiful scenery too.

Most worn sweater?
It's definitely my The Cure sweatshirt. It's so soft and comfortable and big and cosy. And it has Robert Smith's beautiful face on it, so one can't really go wrong with it.

Must-have nail polish this autumn?
I rarely bother with nail polish, but when I do it's usually a Barry M black shade. Barry M are great for cruelty free and vegan friendly options, and have a huge nail polish range, so I'd recommend them for updating your nail polish collection!

Football games or jumping in leaf piles?
I'm the shame of my family for not being football-obsessed. It's got to be jumping in leaf piles. I'm not sorry.

Skinny jeans or leggings?
Skinny jeans all the way! I love having black denim painted-on legs!

What's something nobody knows about you?
I'm a chronic oversharer so I'm really struggling to think of something for this. I don't really think there is anything that nobody knows. My most beloved friend knows everything about me.

Combat boots or Uggs?
Combat boots all the way! Uggs seem comfy but the style just isn't my thing, nor is the sheepskin they're made from.

Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?
I love the taste of pumpkin spice, and I love the smell, but I really don't like coffee. So pumpkin spice is worth the hype, but the famed PSL? Not so much!

Favourite autumn TV show?
My absolute favourite TV show of all time always has been and always will be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and autumn is a great time to watch that! Aside from that, I really take autumn as my opportunity to up the ante on my horror-film watching.

What song gets you in the autumn spirit?
I put a spell on yoOOooUUuuu ♫
I also love anything from Nightmare Revisited, it's such a good album to get in the spooky mood!

Hats or scarves?
I'm definitely more of a scarf person because I succumb to horrendous hat hair pretty quickly. That said, I did buy myself a new hat for this autumn so maybe there's a hat person within me after all.

Favourite thing about autumn?
I love autumnal fashion. The cosy clothes and boots and soft, warm materials just make my soul happy, especially combined with the breeze and the rain and the darker evenings and crisp air. Wrap me up in knitwear and make my cheeks pink with wind any day!

Favourite autumn movie?
It's got to be Hocus Pocus. The nostalgia, the spooky feels, the songs, the extravagant American Halloween - it has everything you could possibly need in an autumn movie.

If you do the Sweater Weather Tag let me know! I'd love to read other people's answers!
